Theme – It's the Thought that Counts

 I had so many thoughts this week that manifested. On Tuesday morning I thought about investing in a new set of tires. I also thought about popping in at The Mechanic to say, "Hey." Before the day was through, I had a situation that had me both buying a new tire and being at The Mechanic. On Wednesday morning, I thought about taking the next $5 bill I made and sticking it in the laundry fund. Later that day, The Mayor paid me an extra $5 for an extra errand. Not too long ago, I though about how I'd like to get a case of beer sometime soon. Out of the blue someone bought me a case of beer.

Lesson – Don't Panic

 It's easy to panic when things go awry. It starts as trying to understand what happen and then quickly escalates to "how the fuck do I deal with this??" The mind races. A myriad of thoughts come flooding in. The trick is to silence them all. Take a breath. Let the rational thought make itself clear.

Observation – Trust the Inspiration

 I did not know what to expect from Saturday night. I only knew that the inspiration to make it happen just gnawed at me daily. There was a reason.

The Post

 It was quite the week. My head is still reeling from it.

It all started on Monday. I had planned a mostly casual day except for my shift at the Seasonal Store. Things like laundry I was going to do on Tuesday.

Well, the Seasonal Store texted and asked me to work on Wednesday instead. This threw me off more than one might think. I wasn't prepared to do anything. I wasn't planning on having the time. I decided to take advantage and start working ahead for the electric to be done. [Which was happening Tuesday.]

This turned out to be a much bigger, and more complicated, job than I had considered. I needed to move around all sorts of big things. In order to do that I needed to move all the little tiny things that were on the big things. However, I had few places to go with it all because I was moving so much big stuff. Also, I couldn't move everything because things like the fridge needed to wait for the electric.

But, I muddled through. It took a lot out of me but I got things as situated as possible.

Somewhere in there I also managed a video session.

Tuesday was supposed to be fairly smooth. It wasn't. Plans were doctor at 7, PT at 10, Sparky at Noon, and then laundry and such. It was close...but oh so much more.

Doctor was fine. There was a minor concern under consideration. It no longer is. So, I was done there much earlier than expected. I had planned on parking lot sitting between appointments and decided I would stick to that even though I had more time. That was all cool. Felt like 'The Good Ole Days.' Grabbing some quick Dunkin. Parking and eating. Then a nap and some chill time.

PT was good.

On the way home from PT, I caught a flat tire. I don't know exactly where I caught it. I only know when I became aware of it. I had just gotten off the bypass and was almost to Olde Geistopia. I believe I heard it right away. Nonetheless, I got here and yes the rear driver's side was flat.

At the same time, Sparky was already here and work was under way. So, I was dealing with Sparky and ordering tires and calling The Mayor. Yes, I said "tires." It wasn't nearly as simple as it should have been.

The first tire I ordered from the place I usually get them, but it wasn't going to get here in time to get Mayor to her appointment the next morning. Big 'D' was more than hesitant to let me use her car. The Mayor said she'd buy the tire. So I ordered one from Wally World and set to cancelling the first tire.

While all of this is going on, I have 2 AAA agents here trying to get the tire off. I have 2 here because the app sent the notice twice. I needed 2 here, though, because I apparently am missing the proper tools to jack Artemis as well as lower the spare [which we never did do.]

In the meantime, I got a message that the tire I ordered was out of stock and it was cancelled. So, I ordered a different tire. Only, it wouldn't be available for pickup until after The Mechanic closed. I found a different place and went in and bought a tire. [The Putter drove me.] Of course, I canceled the 3rd tire. I got the tire to The Mechanic in time.

This whole debacle took me through the day into the early evening...and I was just spent.

Wednesday I got up very early and went and did my laundry because I didn't get to do it Tuesday and it really needed to get done. But I had to have The Mayor to her OT at like 7 or 8 and mine was right after. Then I ran The Mayor on one more errand. After I got her home...I lose time, I can't really recall anything in particular until Saturday. I don't even know what I did Wednesday afternoon.

Perhaps it was about when I started to feel the New Moon energies, which I found interesting considering it's not until this coming Tuesday.

Saturday got weird. Saturday got really weird.

I was feeling off all day and I knew it. But never did I expect any of what happened. I reached a point of total meditation during the show, It was not intentional and it f'd things up a bit. But it happened. Just time...gone. [There will be better description of all of this in upcoming video.]

Saturday night was when the cast was supposed to all get together. Out of 10-11 of us, only 4 showed up. [Pretty sad really.] Of the 4, 1 brought 3 friends so it made up for it. I knew Saturday was going to be something. I just was not prepared. If I didn't really 'know' before them. I figured it all out while I was getting ready. I GOT ready. I'm talking my full on Spiritual Routine. So, I knew something was coming.

It was a fun night and interesting. I got to know the few cast members a little better as well as the friends, That was fun for me. I like to know things about people. It helps me understand them better. One of the friends I had actually met briefly on a previous occasion. He had been working at my Ophthalmologist's office and worked during one of my visits. I remembered chatting with him.

Here's the part I didn't expect - I met a person who...I don't know...warped my world. I found myself drawn to her side all night. I was just so captured by her. I don't know what it was exactly. Keep in mind, I was in Spiritual Mode long before I walked in there. So, I don't know. I just know that I believe she is what all the hullabaloo was about.

I'm not talking anything romantic. I've got a list of reasons why I'm certain that is not the direction of things. But I don't need a list because I no longer play into thoughts of such things. But, for all that I don't know...I am certain that I was meant to meet her.

If I need any validation of that - I have her number and she now has mine.

It's not all that it sounds. I mentioned that I'd like it if she found a way to touch base with me in the future. She sais she had just recently got rid odf all her socials...but she would give me her number.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'll give you my number."

I did send her a message the next day to let her know I enjoyed our conversations but also to make sure that she had my number.

But, that is where that story ends for now. Perhaps Saturday was there was to be.

And it was plenty.

It tweaked me. [Some sort of way.]

There was an interesting moment with my payment plans as well. In the end, I found it to be just another example of the Principles.

Soooo, the plan was that I was to buy the first round. I got myself there a lil early and had just gotten my first round just as they arrived. As they settled in, I told the bartender the plan. I went to give her my card for the tab only to discover I didn't have mu bank card on me. [I later realized I used it for gas and stuck it in the pocket of my jeans that day.]

At first, I didn't know what I was going to do. I only had $40 cash on me. Once Upon Ago, I could have used mty PayPal card and the money would have just come from my bank. HOwever, Paypal stopped trhat feature. Finally, I remembered that I had my CashApp card on me. There was money in there. It was vacation money but it was there and should have been enough to cover the bill. [It was.] Then all I had to do was replenish it from my bank.

It all worked out in the end. I had what I needed when I needed it. And, Once again, The Universe was 10 steps ahead of me. I spent so much time trying to decide in which account I should stick that money. I had finally decided on CashApp because of the card. I figured I could just use it to pay for things on the trip.

And, apparently, the first round of drinks.

When all is said and done, my experience of Saturday night was enough to breathe a little bit of hope and excitement into me. I'm curious to see how life develops from here.

The Totems & Archetypes

The fly meaning brings to focus to anything that’s causing harm to your life, whether of your own choosing or not. An example of this is giving in to societal pressures and indifference.

Just like the cricket spirit animal, the meaning of the fly also speaks about hate, spite, malice, or blame. It buzzes to be heard and flies overhead annoyingly until you are forced to swat or kill it with anything you can get your hands on.

Hawk - Visionary Power and Guardianship.

Childhood visions are becoming empowered and fulfilled. The ability to soar and glide upon the currents. Great Heights while still keeping your feet on the ground. Squirrel – Activity and Preparedness

Do you need to learn how to save and ration on any level – money, time, energy, etc? Are you afraid you will never have enough? Are you too hung up on collecting and accumulating? Are you gathering and not giving? Squirrels can teach us the balance within the circle of gathering and giving out. Masters at preparing. Also reminders that in our quest for our goals, we should always make time to socialize and play.
